The Great Adventure has been together in various incarnations since these fellows began performing together three years ago. In February 2005, the Adventure began it's residency at the Next Stage Theatre on Saturday nights. They invited their friends Knife Fight to perform with them and thus a great adventure was born... indeed.
Inspired by the Harold and the Slacker, the Great Adventure performs a fusion of characters, scenes and silliness, propelling the show into unexpected directions before bringing it all back together like a rubber band. These kats keep it tight and then burn the house down with their kinetic, silly and thought-provoking style. The Great Adventure features a member who appeared on back-to-back Baywatch episodes after winning a lifeguard contest in his native Hawaii, a man who gets paid to play video games for a living, a former NFL ball boy, a Red Cross Executive and a former Division I basketball player. We're fluent in Japanese and Oleo (Native Hawaiian Polynesian) and we can cook.
